Top Gun : Maverick

On March 3,1969 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to ensure that the handful of men and women who graduated were th ebest fighter pilots in the world. They succeeded. Today, the Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School. The flyers call it : TOP GUN.

Hello and welcome to my website ! In this site I will present the movie Top Gun: Maverick. A US Navy fighter pilot for thirty years, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell is called back by his former friend Tom "Iceman" Kazansky to train the best recruits to graduate from Top Gun School. Among them is the son of his missing friend. Faced with this new high-flying mission, Maverick will have to face his old demons.

Top Gun: Maverick is an American film directed by Joseph Kosinski, released in 2022. It is the sequel to the film Top Gun by Tony Scott, released in 1986, the action of which took place mainly in Top gun, the school US Navy air combat training.

Summary

Fighter pilot and Navy Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell deliberately slowed his promotions in thirty years of service in order to keep flying. He is now a test pilot in the Mojave Desert for the hypersonic aircraft project named Darkstar. After a flight at over Mach 10, his prototype caught fire and “Maverick” ejected. The trial program ends. Rear Admiral Cain, in charge of the program, wants to ban "Maverick" from flying. “Maverick” is summoned to Naval Air Station North Island to train a group of Top Gun fighter school graduates for a high-risk mission. For this special mission, he is requested by his friend and former rival pilot, Admiral Tom "Iceman" Kazansky, who has become the commander of the Pacific Fleet. Among them is Lieutenant Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, the son of his late best friend and navigator Nick "Goose" Bradshaw.

The mission...

Refusing to rise in rank to still have the right to fly, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell is entrusted with the training of students of the school Top Gun. They will have to carry out a particularly dangerous mission and it is up to Maverick to ensure that they can carry it out.

Their mission: to destroy a uranium enrichment center illegally designed by a terrorist country: Iran. This center is placed between two mountains, protected by surface-to-air missiles, radar jammers, reserve planes and it is necessary to take into account the devices which will already be in flight. The detachment will be helped by tomahwoaks launched on the military runway thus preventing the planes from taking off.


1. Successfully enter and pass through the valley, with a speed of no less than 600 knots and no more than 300 feet in height ;
2. Go up the mountain and once at the top dive to minimize the height and find the best angle of attack ;
3. Aim, lock and shoot as fast as possible ;
4. Go up the steep slope, in the middle of a coffin corner - at full risk of hitting the mountain and at full risk of stalling - and speed away avoiding the surface-to-air missiles.
